Boarding
We have four blocks of five pens, which all look out onto a peaceful, leafy garden. We do not board dogs. Each pen is designed to comfortably accommodate one or two cats; though we only house two cats together on the request of the owner. The pens are constructed of PVCu and consist of a raised sleeping area, a snooze shelf and a ground level run. The bedroom compartment is double glazed and has a specially designed heater. There are sneeze barriers between pens and a secure safety corridor in each block.
We use scented wood based cat litter, which is easy to keep fresh.
The pens are thoroughly cleaned with a veterinary disinfectant and
the stainless steel food and water bowls are replaced daily. The
PVCu is brighter and easier to keep clean than wood.
Our boarders are covered by Pet Plan insurance.
When you contact us to ask about boarding your cat with us, you will be asked whether he or she is up to date with vaccinations. You will also be asked about your cat’s diet and health status and whether he or she needs tablets or injections.
When you bring your cat in to board, you will be asked to complete a boarding form, which includes important details about you and your pet, and will be attached to the pen.
You are welcome to bring familiar toys and a scratching post to help make your cat even more relaxed while you are away.
